Not every visitor deserves an invitation inside. 👀

A few simple habits can help keep your home secure:
🔒 Lock doors and windows, even when you're home.
💡 Keep entrances and outdoor areas well lit.
📦 Don't let packages sit outside longer than necessary.
🏠 Avoid advertising when you'll be away from home.

This October, let's keep the unexpected visitors limited to trick-or-treaters. 🎃

We’re incredibly grateful to the local businesses that have chosen to support that mission through corporate sponsorships. Their generosity helps SPOF provide additional resources for Statesboro police officers, their families, and the department when and where they need them.

To all of our sponsors, thank you for standing behind those who serve Statesboro.. 💙

Every day, our officers go above and beyond to protect, serve, and strengthen our community. 🚔✨
When you support the Statesboro Police Officer Foundation, you’re standing shoulder to shoulder with the men and women who keep Statesboro safe.
Together, we can make a lasting impact. When we back the blue, we build a stronger community for everyone. 🙌 https://www.statesboropolice.org/shop

That text can wait. The road can't. 📵

Taking your eyes off the road, even briefly, means missing what's happening around you. Put the phone down, keep your attention behind the wheel, and save the scares for Halloween.

Eyes up. Phone down. Get there safely. 🎃

48,610 calls. That’s an average of about 133 every single day.

That’s how many calls SPD Patrol handled in 2025, giving us a glimpse at just how much happens behind the scenes each day in Statesboro.

From emergencies to everyday calls for assistance, patrol officers are there when our community calls. 💙

There are plenty of reasons to get spooked in October. Coming back to find something missing from your car shouldn't be one of them. 👻

Before you walk away:
🔒 Lock your doors.
🔑 Take your keys.
🎒 Keep bags and valuables out of sight.

It only takes a few seconds to double-check. Lock it before you leave it, Statesboro!

These three words make up the Statesboro Police Department credo. Statesboro is where we live, work, raise families, learn, and come together as a community. Serving and protecting that community is both a responsibility and an honor.

At the Statesboro Police Officers Foundation, we're proud to support the men and women who carry that commitment with them each day. 💙

Here’s your reminder that a stop sign means a full stop, even when the road looks clear. Take the extra second to stop, check for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians, then proceed when it’s safe.

A little patience at an intersection can prevent a much bigger problem.

Stop. Look. Proceed safely. 🛑
