Creativity takes center stage this summer as Art in the Park returns to Martin Luther King Jr. Park on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11a-3p, bringing together artists, musicians, food vendors, and families for one of Iredell Countyโs most vibrant community arts celebrations.
Presented by the City of Statesville Recreation & Economic Vitality in partnership with the Iredell Arts Council, the annual festival fills Martin Luther King Jr. Park with live music, local art, food trucks, hands-on activities, artist demonstrations, and community experiences designed for all ages.
Held beneath the parkโs tree canopy at 911 Lakewood Drive in Statesville, Art in the Park celebrates artistic expression, community connection, and the diverse creative voices that shape Iredell County.
Visitors can explore 45 artisan booths featuring handmade goods, fine art, pottery, jewelry, fiber arts, woodworking, photography, and more. This yearโs festival also expands its visual arts programming with the addition of Juried Row, presented by Mooresville Arts - a curated gallery-style section showcasing 10 selected artists.
Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy live art demonstrations including pottery wheel throwing and hand-building workshops hosted by Create Pottery Studio and felt art demonstrations hosted by Mooresville Arts.
Family-friendly creative activities will also be available through community partners including the Iredell County Public Library, Iredell Museums, Statesville Pride Alliance , and Statesville Recreation & Economic Vitality.
Eventgoers will also experience live chalk art by Kannapolis-based artist Sheree Davidson, whose large-scale work focuses on connection, storytelling, and community engagement through public art.
Live music will take place across two stages throughout the afternoon. The Amphitheater Stage lineup features Emanuel Wynter, the Iredell Rhythm Experience, and festival headliner Florencia & the Feeling, while the Pond Stage highlights local musicians from across Iredell County.

Food and beverage vendors will offer a wide variety of festival favorites, including Jeremiahโs Italian Ice, Major League Burritos and More, Thatโs My Dogg Food Cart, and more.
โFew things unite a community quite like art, music, and shared creative experiences,โ said Sydney Koppelmeyer, Director of the Iredell Arts Council. โThe Iredell Arts Council is proud to partner with the City of Statesville to create a welcoming space in one of our beautiful local parks where people of all ages can gather, connect, and experience local art, music, and culture together.โ
