Trump/Cline Folly of the Day:
When asked how Katie Zacharia did at her first "presser" as the new Press Secretary, of course Trump said "she did great". If you watched the briefing, that was anything but great! But the kicker came after Trump's comment when a field reporter asked "In what State did Katie pass the Bar? (Zacharia is a JD, not a journalistist). The president deferred to her for the answer. She said "I was in China". We all know there are no U.S. Bar Exams in China. In fact, Zacharia worked for Zhong Lun Law Firm as outside counsel to the World Bank. Zhong Lun Law Firm has ties to the Communist Party in China.

With Ben Cline parading around the district screaming Democrats will bring Communism and Socialism to the District, and Ben Cline holding committee seats that have direct implications with National Security, can we ask you, Congressman Ben Cline, just how did Katie Zacharia get a Security Clearance?

Where is the accountability, or do you too just fall for pretty face?

📜 Our Constitution begins with “We the People.” Lincoln spoke of government “of the people, by the people, for the people.”

🚫 Yet constituents reported being turned away from Ben Cline events—even after registering.

🗣️ Democracy depends on elected officials hearing different viewpoints, answering difficult questions, and representing ALL their constituents.

🇺🇸 Public service means serving the public—even those who disagree with you.

I was a math teacher. It was my job to oversee my students’ performance. If I received a test from a student full of atrocious errors on it and I scored the paper as perfect, I would have neglected my duty and deserved to be fired. This is precisely what Ben Cline has done. His job in Congress is to oversee the president, making sure what POTUS does is in the best interest of his constituents. Yet he has gone along with 100% of Donald Trump’s foolish, selfish, narcissistic ideas. Trump has:
• Started and maintained a war which has had adverse effects on the economy and caused many soldiers to be killed or maimed
• Pardoned thousands of felons, especially those who have donated to his bank account
• Willfully ignored the rule of law as proven by Jack Smith and his court convictions
• Taken people off healthcare and food sustenance and given tax breaks to the rich
• Raised the national debt to over 40 trillion dollars
• Insisted that his name be on everything from monuments to money to buildings
• Lied compulsively and made many unkept promises such as the checks that never came
• Treated women and immigrants as people of lesser caliber than himself
• Not compelled the Justice Department to release the Epstein files
• Enriched himself and his family while millions of Americans cannot afford the price of healthcare and food
• Spent millions of taxpayer dollars on vanity projects
• Rudely and crassly spoken about anyone who disagrees with him
• Surrounded himself with incompetent lackeys such as Pete Hegseth , Linda McMahon, and Robert Kennedy, Jr.
• Promoted fossil fuels instead of cheaper renewable energy so the fossil fuel industry can continue to line his pockets
• Ignored 99.9% of Americans while pampering to the 0.1% who are wealthy
• Made power and greed more important than civility and helpfulness
If this were a math test, I’d give student Trump a miserable, failing grade. Ben Cline has given him a 100%. I think it’s time to bring in another teacher. Beth Macy, you are being called...

Healthcare Rallies - Wednesday Oct 14 !
Join the Staunton, Augusta, Waynesboro and Lex/Rock/BV Democrats as we rally to remind voters that we support public health, science, our healthcare workers and to remind voters that the trillion dollar cuts in Medicaid, SNAP and the destruction of our healthcare infrastructure (happening beneath our feet and in front of our eyes to our friends, neighbors and communities) is all thanks to Ben Cline, Trump and the OBBB. And the worst is yet to come in 2027! Oh, but Medicare enrollees are getting a $90 "bribe"from Trump to help with the October Medicare premium. That will make it all better !

Soon after the OBBB was passed and signed in July 2025 (by only the REPUBLICANS), Augusta Health was forced to close three community healthcare clinics in Churchville, Weyers Cave and Buena Vista. This not only worsened the already existing healthcare deserts in the Valley but patients now have to travel to other healthcare centers miles away and spending more in transportation costs.

Join us on Wednesday October 14 to support public heal and the workers but also to protest the deliberate destruction of the safety net and those actively working to harm their constituents:
