High winds are in the forecast, and they could cause power outages.

If a power outage happens, contact your power company to report it right away.

Before a power outage:
🤳 Fully charge up your devices
🔦 Locate your flashlights
🔌 Have a plan for medical equipment that needs power

If your power goes out and you plan to use a generator, keep it outside — at least 20 feet away from windows, doors, and attached garages.

The next 24 hours are going to be a little weird here in Pennsylvania.

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟲 ⛈️
It's warm, and we expect to see powerful wind gusts. Be alert for isolated tornadoes and potential flash flooding to pool on some roadways. Think about the safest location to shelter if there is a tornado warning. Never drive into standing water. Turn around, don't drown!

𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟳 ❄️
Temperatures will drop by 25 to 40 degrees overnight, bringing powerful wind gusts and — we hate typing this as much as you hate reading it — snow on Tuesday. The northwestern part of the state will see the most snow, but central Pennsylvania and northeastern PA could get some, too.
