Butterfly House Bedtime: Where Do Butterflies Go in Winter?

Enjoy a story about butterfly migration in winter, explore the Butterfly Conservatory, learn how butterflies survive the colder months, and decorate your own butterfly passport! 🎃 Pumpkin Play & Learn was gourd-geous! 🎃 Our friends from the SH Nature Center helped young explorers put their pumpkin knowledge to the test! From estimating a pumpkin’s circumference with string to discovering how pumpkin plants grow, attendees got hands-on with every part of this fall favorite.

We peeked inside pumpkins, tested whether they sink or float (spoiler: pumpkins can be full of surprises!), and created one-of-a-kind pumpkins to take home. Thanks to everyone who joined us for a smashing good time! 🍂🧡
