SVFC is proud to announce that Tower 611 Bravo will soon be joining our fleet. In the modern era of complex equipment and long lead times it's more difficult than ever to keep apparatus in working order. Having a 2nd Tower allows us to keep one in service while the other is out for maintenance. When the beacons are lit and you call for aid, Sterling's truck company will answer.

Tower 611 Bravo is a 2025 E-ONE Fire Trucks (Official Site) (sold by Matheny Fire & Emergency) 2025 Typhoon HP 100 with a 100 foot 3-section aluminum platform, a Cummins X15 605HP motor, an Allison EVS 4500 transmission, and dual pre-piped master streams. By design it is similar to the current Tower 611, to take advantage of the skills of our current members and our Loudoun County Fire and Rescue partners.

After some final fitting out, training, and familiarization it should be in service by the end of the year,

When charging on a plane, keep portable charging devices on the tray table. Do not charge devices in overhead compartments and never charge e-cigarettes or vapes on a plane. If a battery overheats or fails, it is important for the flight crew to be able to respond quickly. For more info: fpw.org.

Stop using your device right away if the battery smells strange, is warm to the touch, makes popping noises, changes in shape or color, or if you see smoke. If it is safe, move the device away from anything that can catch fire. A damaged battery can overheat and start a fire. For more info: fpw.org.
