Here’s to wrapping up last week in second grade with a STEM activity! In class we have been learning about having a positive mindset with learning. We read the book The Dot and talked about using a growth mindset while using our creativity. Kids planned and designed a variety of structures while using Dots candy and toothpicks! Discussions included, what problem solving happened when their project didn’t go as planned? Or how did working as a team help you build your structure? The kids created some great structures and fostered a positive attitude within their teams!
