I just learned that the Baltimore Banner removed me from its 2026 voter guide.
Yep — you read that right.
✅ The Banner invited me to answer questions for the guide.
✅ I submitted my responses, and they were published in the guide.
❌ The Banner later quietly removed me from the guide without notice or explanation.
After a year of minimizing and cockblocking my campaign, this is another choice by the Banner to keep voters from hearing directly from me. I think voters deserve to know that.
But this campaign has never depended on easy conditions. We knew it would be challenging. Changing corrupt systems is never easy — and I know this fight is worth it. We’re just getting started 💪
Let’s also give credit where it’s deserved: the League of Women Voters of Baltimore County included me in its voter guide and gave voters a chance to hear from every candidate. Read it here 👇🏻

I’ve also posted my questionnaire responses in the comments.
To the gatekeepers and naysayers: you can try to shut a door, but you can’t stop people from finding another way in. Independent and unaffiliated voters are ready for something better — and we’re building it together.
And to county voters: when a candidate disappears from a voter guide, ask why. Why is a news outlet hiding a candidate from you? Then seek out the information for yourself. I’m right here, ready to talk about the problems and how we can solve them 💡
There’s only ONE WAY to vote INDEPENDENT in the County Executive race — ✏️Write in “Rob Daniels” for County Executive 👍

I’m THE independent, write-in candidate for Baltimore County Executive. I’d appreciate your vote. Here’s how you do it:
1. Find the County Executive race on your ballot
2. Fill in the oval in the “write-in” space ⚫️
3. Write in my name:
✍️ Rob Daniels
