The department recently hosted its decades-long tradition of Ready Set Sell, where professional salespeople visit campus to participate in a sales role-play activity. This semester, 2015 Agricultural Economics graduate Terra Burditt (left) traveled from Nebraska to share her experience with the students by pretending to be a customer and allowing students (left to right) Liv Atendido, Ryland Mosley, and Brady Hopkins to perform a mock sales call. Twenty-two salespeople participated, helping fund the banquet afterwards and providing our students with an active and unique learning activity.

Our graduate students and members of the had a very successful trip to Louisville, Kentucky for SAEA!

K. Aleks Schaefer, associate professor of international markets, trade and policy in the Department of Agricultural Economics, has accepted the position of director of the Oklahoma State Master of International Agriculture Program!
