We have many many years of property records that we will make available to you or your insurance provider. Also we will be releasing details about removing items affected from the tax roll. Due to an extreme fire situation within many areas of the county and an ongoing power situation with in County buildings the Payne County Administration Building closed at 3:00pm. The deadline to file Renditions will remain open through the close of business Monday March 17th. Thank you.

It's that time of year again! The form that explains your property valuation is hitting mailboxes as we speak! I would like to take a minute to help you understand this document. It is not a tax bill! it will say that on the top of the page. The Market Value is included. The (Capped) Taxable Fair Cash Value is also supplied. This is the value that your tax bill is based on. This document will also open an

"Appeal Period" Page two of this notice explains this process in length. An appeal can be submitted through our website https://www.paynecountyassessor.org/ Also attached is a PDF that gives a step-by-step explanation of key dates and value details. NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
Due to the larger than anticipated snow amounts falling in Payne County, Payne County officials have decided to close Payne County Government courthouse and administration building today Thursday January 9th at 3:00 p.m. and tomorrow all day Friday January 10th for the health and safety of not only our staff, but the public. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. I will still be available by email.
