Last week was National School Lunch Week. As some extra fun for the students, we asked for guest lunch servers and some awesome staff and a board member answered the call. Thank you to our special guests AND our daily kitchen staff (Laura, Lynne & Lynn) for what you do every day and the heart and patience that you do it with.

🎉 Introducing the HOOP-TROOP! 🎉

We’re excited to share that Rachel, a professional hula-hooper and proud Stockbridge Public Schools parent, is offering to teach students in grades 3–8 the basics of hula-hooping!

If there’s enough interest, we hope to turn the Hoop-Troop into a fun club where kids can learn new tricks, build their skills, and even have the opportunity to make their very own hoop! 🤩⭕

Next week kicks off the dress up days for middle school students. The week will finish off with an epic Fall Fiesta Dance.

Strength Circles, what are they and why do we have them? Our students get to explore and take time to find the strengths that help get them through tough situations: feeling sad about what a friend said, losing a pet, feeling frustrated with the outcome of a game, not getting what they expected. No matter the feelings they have, big or small, they are encouraged to focus on one or more of their strengths. Strength Circles are an opportunity for them to keep growing their mental health tool box.

Last Friday should have been called Farm Fun Field Trip Friday. Our elementary classes got to visit some farms, hold some animals, milk a cow, 'drive' a combine and even see a brand new baby cow! The baby cow was born while the upper elementary kids were at the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center! Thank you to all our supportive staff and patient parents for helping make this experience possible for our students. 🐄 🐖 🚜
