What you bring:

Education & Experience:
🎓 A high school diploma (or equivalent) and four years of progressively responsible administrative support experience are typically required.
🎓 A college degree in criminal justice, public administration, legal studies, or a related field can substitute for one year of experience.

Last week, we had the opportunity to meet with local legislators and justice partners to advocate for completing a long-delayed facilities project at the Stockton Courthouse.

😰 More than ten years ago, two courtrooms were “shelled” during construction, with the expectation they would be completed once funding became available. Since then, our community has continued to grow — but our space has not. Every week, our judicial officers and staff work tirelessly to keep cases moving, adjusting calendars and courtrooms to serve the public as efficiently as possible. With increasing caseloads across civil, criminal, and family law matters, the need for additional courtroom space is greater than ever.

😉 We’ve done our part. We’ve waited. We’ve planned. We’ve saved for years to meet our obligations. Now we simply need the funding that has been allocated in the Governor’s 2026-2027 budget to remain in place so we can finally complete one of two shelled courtrooms and better serve our community.
