As we gear up for the Home Run Derby on July 17th, we’re inviting you to be part of the "team behind the teams." As our current champion, SJC Sheriff's team along with Stockton PD and other law enforcement agencies, local businesses and community partners, it's going to be a great day to get in on the fun!

Trauma can leave a person feeling unsheltered and uncertain. The funds raised during this event allow us to provide the essentials—like emergency food, safe housing, and protective planning—that help a person move from a moment of crisis toward a future of peace.

Come for the home runs, stay for the mission, and help us celebrate the resilience of our community.

Our Home Run Derby 2025 Champion, SJC Sheriff's department team and the runner up, Stockton PD, are already practicing...are you ready to steal this year's title? The games are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and it is going to be legendary.

But this isn't just about who can clear the fences. Every individual ticket sold helps us provide a safe harbor for our neighbors in their most vulnerable moments. While these agencies compete for the trophy, they are actually working together to ensure our 24/7 crisis hotlines and confidential shelters stay accessible to everyone in San Joaquin County. 🛡️

Just a quick heads-up... if you notice a few empty desks or some very “creative” out-of-office messages on Friday, July 17th, it’s probably because of Prevail’s Annual Home Run Derby.

I may have had something to do with the excitement. There’s just something about sunshine, big swings, and bragging rights that makes “work” a tough sell that day. But look at it this way — your team will come back with higher morale, stronger camaraderie, and at least one story about someone who definitely thought they could hit it 300 feet.

Appreciate your understanding. And if you can’t beat ‘em... you might want to join ‘em.

Have you ever tried to solve a major problem while you were hungry, tired, or felt unsafe? It’s nearly impossible because your brain is in "survival mode." At PREVAIL, we act as the Advocacy Bridge.

Before a survivor can dive into deep clinical therapy, they need stability. We provide the safety planning, peer support, and immediate resources (like food and clothing) that quiet the noise of a crisis. By stabilizing the present, we create the "breathing room" someone needs to eventually cross over into long-term mental health healing.

Trauma doesn't just affect adults; it ripples through families. We know that the earlier a child receives support, the more resilient they become. That is why we have a dedicated youth clinician on-site to provide initial mental health support.

We don't just focus on the crisis; we focus on the child’s sense of safety and wellness. By providing a stable environment and professional support early on, we help kids reclaim their childhoods and build a healthier future. ❤️🛋️
