May launches Mental Health Awareness month and HCA celebrated by greeting students with resources, affirmations, and hopscotch.

We’d like to congratulate our State Seal of Biliteracy recipients. This honor is given to students who have proved proficient in Reading, Writing, Listening , and Speaking in 2 or more languages.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the entire Health Careers Academy staff, along with the incredible students, supportive families, and dedicated community who make HCA what it is. This honorable recognition is not the result of one person, but a reflection of the hard work, teamwork, and shared passion that defines Health Careers Academy. It truly takes a village, and we are proud to be part of one so deeply committed to excellence.

A huge thank you to Sutter Health for the worthwhile health professions fair today! 117 HCA students rotated between departments and heard from a variety of health professionals about what they do. The hands on experience was awesome! Thank you again for a great day!

: 408 middle schools and high schools have been selected for the prestigious 2026 California Distinguished Schools Program! These schools are being honored and recognized for their efforts to move the needle for student achievement, no matter what.
