The Friends of the Fox invite the community to kick off summer with a special screening of The Goonies at the historic Bob Hope Theatre on Sunday, June 14th.
Doors open at 12:30 PM for an afternoon of nostalgia, adventure, and movie magic in one of Stocktonโs most iconic theaters. Guests can enjoy concessions, including $1 popcorn, while experiencing this beloved classic on the big screen with family and friends.

The dance group Txuj Ci Angels performed at the recent AAPI Asian Heritage Night at Banner Island. Their lively dances and sparkly native costumes always attract fans whenever they perform. Thank you Kommunity Hub NorCal and the Stockton Ports for hosting the 2026 Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Night for Stockton!! A tailgate party filled with Asian food vendors and an entertainment stage featuring a diverse entertainment line-up proceeded the Ports game at 7:00 pm. Hip hop artist and emcee Orlando Molina energized the crowd who loved the diverse Asian dance and music groups and martials arts demos. Asian cultural heritage from the Filipiino, Hmong, Japanese, Indian, Chinese, Cambodian, and Vietnamese and Polynesian groups that performed for the cheering audience.

Tickets are now on sale for the 5th Annual Taste of the Mile, taking place Saturday, June 13th, in Tuxedo Court on the Miracle Mile. This yearโs Boot Scootin Boogie theme will feature tastings from favorite Miracle Mile restaurants, desserts, signature cocktails, wine and spirits, live music from the Nick Elwood Band, and a silent auction under the lights. Tickets are $125 per person, with tables of 8 also available. Sponsorship opportunities are currently open for businesses interested in supporting the event and connecting with the community. Small business owners and entrepreneurs came out on May 28th to the "Get Connected "event hosted by SJPAC and SBDC to learn about opportunities for access to capital, state agency contracts and business resources. Chamber CEOs Leslie Edman, Lisa Vela and Frank Ferrell representing he Greater Stockton Chamber were on hand as event and resource sponsors. Special presentations from Congressman Josh Harder and Assemblywoman Rhodesia Ransom kicked off the day's event! Workshop sessions and presenters including Matthew Alix, the SBDC lead procurement program manager were featured.
