This Memorial Day, the officers and staff of the San Joaquin Delta College Police Department pause to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a time to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and selfless commitment of the fallen service members who gave their lives protecting the freedoms we enjoy today.

Their legacy lives on in the values of service, duty, and commitment to something greater than ourselves. As we gather with family and friends, we encourage our community to take a moment to remember those who never made it home.

From all of us at the San Joaquin Delta College Police Department, we honor our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry the memories and loss that came with their sacrifice each and every day.

The San Joaquin Delta College Police Department was proud to support the 2026 Delta College Commencement ceremonies at Adventist Health Arena as we celebrated the achievements of our students and their families.

This year’s commencement was an outstanding success and a reflection of what can be accomplished when organizations come together in support of a shared community.

We would like to thank the Stockton Police Department, along with the City of Stockton Economic Development Department and their parking staff, for their support and assistance throughout the event. We truly could not have provided such a safe, organized, and welcoming experience without their partnership and help.

Commencement is a celebration, but it also reflects something deeper about community. It is a reminder that moments like these are supported by countless people working behind the scenes, often without recognition, because they believe in serving something bigger than themselves.

Whether through service, sacrifice, teamwork, or simply showing up when needed, those efforts matter and help create experiences our students and families will remember for years to come.
We were honored to play a role in helping provide a safe and welcoming environment for this important milestone.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026. We are proud of you and wish you continued success in all that lies ahead.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all law enforcement professionals who lead with integrity, compassion, and commitment to keeping our communities safe. Thank you for your service, your resilience, and the positive impact you make each day.

Please join us in honoring those who serve and remembering those we have lost. 💙

Dear Campus Community,
Please be aware that the District Police Department will be conducting speed enforcement on and around campus during the next few weeks. This means you may see a greater police presence focused specifically on monitoring vehicle speeds and issuing warnings or citations when drivers exceed posted limits.
This targeted effort, requested by the Campus Health and Safety Committee, is intended to reinforce safe driving habits and reduce speeding in high-traffic campus areas.
Thanks for doing your part to keep our campus safe.

This week, the San Joaquin Delta College Police Department honors National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week — recognizing the voices who are there in some of life’s most difficult moments.

Our telecommunicators are the calm in the chaos — offering reassurance, strength, and guidance when it’s needed most. While their work is often unseen, the impact they make is felt every single day across our campus community.

Thank you for your compassion, dedication, and the steady voice you provide when it matters most.
