Breezy and unseasonably warm conditions continue today and tomorrow, before near normal temperatures return mid-week. More widespread storm chances come Tuesday afternoon through Thursday.

10/05/2026

Dry conditions are expected for the next 3 days with high temperatures in the 70s and 80s. Low temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s. Winds will increase today out of the south but will be fairly light Tuesday & Wednesday.

10/04/2026

Expect a slightly cooler finish to the weekend with pleasant fall temperatures and dry weather expected to continue through much of next week.

10/01/2026

Though a few lingering showers will be possible across the area today, most of the day should remain dry. Some isolated areas of flooding concerns continue for a few areas south or east of the Tri-Cities. Otherwise, skies look to clear this weekend with highs spreading the upper 50s to low 70s.

Plentiful moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Polo moves into our area, beginning Tues and continuing through Thurs afternoon. Rainfall in excess of 2-3 inches falling over areas that have received 3-5 inches of water in the past week could lead to flooding.

Large portion of the region will have moderate to high chances for total rain amounts of at least 3 inches. The heavy rain, combined with lingering damp soil from last week's rain, could lead to areas of flooding. Rain will be most widespread/persistent Tuesday evening into Thursday morning.

09/27/2026

Heavy rainfall and potential flooding is becoming an increasing concern for the upcoming work week. Rain is likely to return Monday night and continue periodically through much of the work week. Total rainfall amounts of at least 2-4 inches are expected, which combined with already wet soils, could lead to areal and river flooding later this week. Stay tuned to the forecast over the coming days!

09/26/2026

A majority of the area should remain dry today outside of a few locations near and east of HWY-281. The next widespread chance for precipitation will not come until the Monday night into Tuesday period. Otherwise, the sun should struggle to make its presence known over the next few days, with highs not expected to exceed the 70s to low 80s. Be on the lookout for fog Sunday morning.
