The Sparta Renaissance faire

Held at Camp Sacajawea at 844 White Lake rd. in Sparta, Sussex County every September, this Renn Faire is one of the best in the state, and the location has a lot to do with it.
Jousting, sword fights, axe throwing, archery contests and medieval entertainment such as jugglers , shows, lots of food vendors and shops, plus Shakespeare in the park, can be sought amongst the sprawling tree-lined paths and open meadows. While the Faire has packed up it's tents for the year, they will be back next September.
