209Gives is next week!

On May 19, our community has the chance to help keep youth sports affordable for local families. Registration fees do not cover the full cost of running a season, and your support helps close the gap so kids can stay on the field, on the court, and part of a team.

Everything costs more right now: gas, groceries, equipment, field space, and the basics families rely on every day.

At the Y, we’re working hard to keep youth sports fees affordable, even as program costs continue to rise. Community support helps close the gap between what families pay and what it actually costs to run a season.

209Gives is May 19. This year, your gift helps keep kids on the field, on the court, and part of a team.

Huge shoutout to students and their families for joining us at the Cinco de Mayo event! 🎉

This experience is just the beginning—helping our students build skills, express themselves, and create meaningful artwork. Art is culture, and culture lives within our community. 🎨

Through our collaboration with Lodi Unified School District, Cutting Edge, and Oak Grove Park, we were successful in leading enriching offsite camps for the second week of spring break. Cutting Edge led engaging martial arts sessions, while Oak Grove Park guided students through nature walks and helped them learn the fundamentals of soccer. Across both offsite camps, we maintained a strong literacy focus—students created their own stories and had the opportunity to meet a 10-year-old published author, each receiving a copy of her children’s book to read and be inspired. A huge shoutout to everyone who made it happen and to the families who attended our last day celebration for both camps!

Until our next camp! 🫶🏽💛☀️

We had the joy of hosting 10-year-old author Aizelle San at our Spring Break camps! 🌧📚

Students were thrilled to meet her and hear her read Sky’s Wacky Raindrop Rescue. Her story inspired many to dream big—some are already planning their own books, illustrations, and publishing ideas! ✨

Support this amazing young author and spark creativity in your students with her fun, adventurous story. 💧 Grab your copy on Amazon using the link below.
