The San Joaquin County IHSS Public Authority (IHSS PA) can help In Home Supportive Services (IHSS) clients with finding, hiring and training their IHSS homecare provider. The IHSS PA assists providers with their payroll enrollment paperwork, provides the State required orientation for new providers, and receives Department of Justice fingerprint results for all provider applicants.

The California Department of Social Services is aware of a scam targeting IHSS participants regarding an “IHSS Grant”. The message falsely claims IHSS participants can receive a financial grant in exchange for a $500 payment fee. This is a scam designed to steal IHSS participants money and personal information.
This message has been posted at the ESP Banner Page located at https://www.etimesheets.ihss.ca.gov/login.
SCAM ALERT: IHSS Program Grants
If you receive an email or any message regarding an “IHSS Grant”, please do not respond. The message falsely claims you can receive a “financial grant” in exchange for a $500 payment fee. This is a scam designed to steal your money and personal information. Please do NOT respond, do NOT click any links, and do NOT send money. Report all suspicious emails. If you or your family qualify for nutritional assistance, there will be multiple San Joaquin County Human Services Agency food distributions this Wednesday through Thursday, November 5–6, 2025.

Items include canned vegetables, fruit, meat, and dry foods such as rice or pasta.

Provider Education Course Starts November 4, 2025 for 5 Sessions 10/03/2025

NAMI will be hosting FREE Provider Education classes Starting in November!

Classes will be held in-person at Railroad Square, 620 N Aurora St, Suite 303, Stockton, CA.

There will be 5 classes on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Thursday and Friday of the following week. The first class begins on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and the last class is Friday, November 14, 2025, Each class is from 9:30am - 12:00pm.
