The goal of foster care is to safely reunify children with their families in an environment where they can feel supported, continue healing, and thrive ๐ฑ
During National Reunification Month, we honor and celebrate the families, advocates, and communities dedicated to helping children and families reconnect, heal, and build lasting stability together.

CASA Volunteer John shares the impact volunteering has had on his life, his family, and the children he supports:
โCo-CASA'ing with my wife has enriched not only the lives of youth in foster care, but also my own life and marriage, giving my spouse and I many opportunities to communicate and grow together. CASA has connected us to a meaningful community - these children and all of the amazing people in their support system, from CASA staff and social workers to attorneys and judges. Itโs truly a wonderful way to spend a day each week.โ
California Volunteers is calling on 10,000 men across California to step up, show up, and serve. Through mentorship, service, and connection, volunteers like John are making our communities stronger. CASA encourages you to join the movement. ๐
