Protecting our agricultural economy is one of my top priorities in Sacramento. We are the breadbasket of the world, and our rich agricultural industry helps make California the 4th largest economy in the world.

Thanks to H.R. 1 and Washington Republicans, healthcare changes are coming, and they’re not good.

I’m grateful to everyone who joined my 2nd Annual State of Healthcare to talk through these changes, learn how California is working to keep people insured, and connect with local resources. You shared concerns and ideas I’m taking back to Sacramento.

Thank you to Health Plan of San Joaquin for hosting, as well as our panelists, resource providers, and everyone who joined us in person and online. I’ll keep fighting to protect access to care for San Joaquin County families.

It's been a productive year! 11 of my bills have been signed by the Governor and are now California law. I’m proud of what we accomplished this year and ready to build on that progress next legislative session for the people I serve in San Joaquin County and across California!
