The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors has adopted a 45-day moratorium on land use approvals for new data center development in unincorporated San Joaquin County. During the moratorium, San Joaquin County Community Development continues to gather data and community input about potential impacts and land-use regulations.

The San Joaquin Community Development Department (CDD) has learned of scams targeting permit applicants and property owners. Scammers may contact you by phone, email, text message, or social media, claiming to be from CDD. They may say you owe permit fees, inspection fees, or penalties and demand immediate payment by wire transfer.

CDD will never ask you to pay fees by wire transfer.

All fees due to CDD can be paid through any of the following methods:
