During National EMS Week, we recognize the firefighter EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, nurses, ambulance crews, and hospital staff who work together every day to help our community through some of life’s most critical moments.

In 2025, Stockton Fire responded to more than 19,500 EMS incidents across our city and surrounding communities. From cardiac arrests and overdoses to serious trauma and everyday medical emergencies, our crews are prepared to respond whenever help is needed.

But EMS is never just one person or one agency. It starts with a 9-1-1 call answered by our Emergency Communications Division, continues with Stockton Firefighter EMTs and Paramedics arriving on scene, and extends through our ambulance and hospital partners who help carry patient care forward.

Thank you to every member of the EMS system who continues showing up, day and night, for our community. 🚑❤️
