🚲 Bike Safety Enforcement Initiative 🚲

The Stoneham Police Department has received **MRS grant funding through EOPSS** to support increased bike safety education and enforcement in our community.

This initiative applies to **ALL bicycles — not just e-bikes.**

Our goal is simple: education, safety, and enforcement to help keep riders, pedestrians, and motorists safe.

🚲 Ride Safe. ⛑️ Wear a Helmet. 🚦 Follow the Rules of the Road.

THANK YOU to everyone who joined our roundtable discussion on e-bike safety concerns! 🚲

We're grateful to Chief O'Connor, Lieutenant Thistle, Stoneham Public Schools Superintendent DeFrancisco, town staff, local representatives, our Bike/Ped Subcommittee, and all the residents who participated, both in person and online.

The energy in the room was collaborative and positive, and we left with a stronger shared understanding of the issue. Stay tuned for an update on the steps we'll be taking together as a community.
