He was a trailblazer for what the fire service is today in Harrison County. He was a mentor and father figure to many men and women in the Stonewood Volunteer Fire Department, the fire service, and the community. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten for the impact that he created on Harrison County's Emergency Services. To Karen and the rest of the Carvelli family, from all the Stonewood Volunteer Fire Department officers, members, associates, past members, and retired members whom this man has affected and touched in his lives, we send our deepest sympathy and prayers.
