Trump keeps telling us to pretend he’s on the ballot. He has a point. Our local races can feel far removed from Washington, but when Washington goes too far, your State Representative and State Senator decide how Connecticut responds.

Connecticut also protects patients and doctors here from lawsuits brought by states that ban abortion. And in January, Hartford will decide whether to step in for more than 100,000 Connecticut residents at risk of losing Medicaid.
Early voting is open for one more day: Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm, at the Stonington Police Department. Election Day is Tuesday, 6 am to 8 pm. If you haven’t voted yet, vote Row A all the way.
