Nashoba Hoops
Registration for Stow Rec basketball is officially open!! Please see details below and links to register.
Volunteers are needed to make this program available to the community. If you have interest in coaching, assisting, or serving as a team manager, please indicate via the online registration. No experience necessary.
Grades 1&2
Cost $95 for 10 sessions, includes ball and t-shirt
Run Saturday mornings beginning early – mid November for 10 weeks
Youth program designed to learn the game, develop skills, and have fun
Skills, drills, and scrimmaging, no formal games are played

Grades 3 to 8
Cost $125 for season, includes game jersey

Player evaluations for Grades 3 – 8th will take place mid to late October; final dates will be communicated soon. The goal is to create balanced teams across every age group (no cuts). Rec is an equal playing time league. Teams are separated by grade and gender.
Additional detail by grade:
Grades 3&4
· Games on Sunday with 1 practice during the week determined by the coach
· play 9 games starting early December
· no standings, no playoffs
Grades 5 – 8th
· Games on Saturday with 1 practice during the week determined by the coach
· play 9 games starting early December
· playoffs in February prior to school vacation week
Lastly, if your player is interested in additional training on top of Rec, Nashoba runs a travel league (combined Stow, Bolton, Lancaster) for grades 4th - 8th. Players must go through a tryout process and it's not an equal playing time league. Travel is an additional game + practice per week on top of the Rec league. The only exception is 4th grade, where schedules conflict. If a 4th grader makes a travel team, they can’t play 4th grade Rec.
