Strasburg Fire Protection Dist. Fire protection and emergency medical services in Strasburg, Colorado.

Strasburg Fire Protection District #8 is a combination volunteer and paid department serving the town of Strasburg Colorado located off I70 on the eastern plains. Strasburg Fire responds to 911 calls for fire and medical emergencies in the 262 mile district. Strasburg Fire has two ALS ambulances staffed with paramedics to respond to a multitude of emergency medical calls along with structural firefighting apparatus and wildland fire apparatus to respond to every type of call for service. Strasburg Fire provides mutual aid for a variety of incidents to surrounding departments on the I70 corridor. Strasburg Fire strives to provide the best public safety services to the people of Strasburg and the surrounding communities through our "commitment to excellence".

I was honored yesterday to be able to attend the walk off retirement ceremony for the incomparable Mark Schuman. I have been privileged to know Mark for the last three plus decades and he is a colleague, mentor, friend and above all a great man.

He served for 36 years with Adams County Fire Rescue and has been a friend to the I-70 corridor agencies.

Congratulations on a remarkable career.

Good morning,

I wanted to let you know that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we unfortunately need to postpone the move-in scheduled for this Saturday for our new Chief. The home was not ready for tenants, and they are currently working to find a new place to rent.

We truly appreciate all of the support to help us. It means so much to us, and we are very grateful for everyone who was willing to give their time to help.

I’m so sorry for the change in plans. We are actively working to find a new location, and as soon as we have a new date and place confirmed, we will reach back out and would be so grateful to enlist your help again.
