Playing for Pools. This years annual pink night event will be hosted during football and volleyball supporting a member of our Clipper Family, Derry Pool.
Derry began having hip pain early spring, and continued to increase throughout summer. X-rays and MRI confirmed a bone tumor in the left femur/hip area. He was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma in late August. Surgery was performed Sept. 11. He received a total hip replacement along with reconstructive muscle and tissue surgery after the hip and tumor were removed.

Strasburg Student Council sends a big thank you to all of our local businesses for decorating during Homecoming Week! All of the SPS students thoroughly enjoyed seeing the decorations and the support you gave to our school and students. Please enjoy looking at all of the businesses who took time to decorate! As voted on by Student Council, our winners are:

1st Place: Strasburg State Bank
2nd Place: Mattern Machine
3rd Place: Ampride

A big thank you to Strasburg State Bank for the suckers and Kramer’s Blue Room for the Shirley Temples for Student Council, these treats were very appreciated and made our walk around town even more enjoyable!
