Hi, everyone! In honor of Dolly, her Imagination Library Foundation has named today as the first annual Give Like Dolly Day!
Did you know, a donation of just $9.25 purchases 7 books for children in our county? That is such an amazing investment!
If you would like to Give Like Dolly, you can do so by:
1. Donation link: https://donate.imaginationlibrary.com/
Be sure to select: “I would like to designate this donation to a specific Imagination Library Local Program Partner” then “Garvin County” as your Local Program Partner.
2. Check payable to Garvin County Imagination Library. Mail to: Stratford Friends of the Library Foundation, PO Box 362, Stratford, OK 74872. Or you can bring check/cash to the library.
3. Join us this Saturday, September 26th, at Brick Fest in downtown Pauls Valley to give in person! We will also be registering children ages 0-4 for the program!
Thank you for helping us carry on Dolly’s legacy by giving back to the children of our community!

The library will be closed to public this evening while staff attend a required training in OKC. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Give Like Dolly Day is coming September 25!
Dolly Parton believed in giving back and helping children dream bigger—and this year, we’re celebrating that spirit right here in Garvin County, through Give Like Dolly Day.
On September 25, we’re inviting our community to join us in giving back to children by supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Garvin County. Your support helps make it possible for children in our community to receive a free, high-quality book every month from birth to age 5.

Learn more about our program at https://www.facebook.com/GCILF.

There are three ways to donate!
3. Join us this Saturday, September 26th, at Brick Fest in downtown Pauls Valley to give in person! We will also be registering children ages 0-4 for the program!

A couple weeks back, Dennis Williams from
D&jadventuresok visited our sweet little town of Stratford to learn more about history of the town of McGee and how/why it's people moved their buildings south to what is now modern day Stratford.
