***UPDATE 12:15pm
As of 12:15pm, First Energy has made repairs and has less than 60 customers in the Streetsboro area that are still without power. Crews are still working on final repairs. ***

***UPDATE 9:30am- First Energy is aware of the issue. A crew has been dispatched but there is still no timeline for repair. ***
There was an arc/electrical surge, possibly at the substation on SR 43 south which has caused widespread power outages. We do not have an ETA on repair and Dispatch is being overwhelmed with calls about when the power will be back on or just reporting it is out. We have no control over First Energy repair timelines.
PLEASE only call dispatch for an actual emergency - you see flames, you smoke, you are medically dependent on electricity.
You can text First Energy at 54487 LIGHTS), go online to https://www.firstenergycorp.com/outages_help/Report_Power_Outages.html or call 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877),
We will update if we receive additional info.
Thank you.
