Attention residents of Jasper County:
A Burn Ban is currently in effect until November 19, 2026. During this time, all outdoor burning is prohibited to help reduce the risk of wildfires and protect lives, property, and emergency responders.

Please do your part by: ✅ Avoiding all outdoor burning activities�✅ Properly disposing of smoking materials�✅ Reporting any signs of wildfire or unauthorized burning immediately�✅ Sharing this information with family, friends, and neighbors

🔥 Fire Safety Day at School! 🔥

Yesterday, Stringer VFD spent time with students sharing important fire safety tips and demonstrating equipment used by firefighters every day. We enjoyed answering questions, teaching fire prevention, and helping students learn how to stay safe at home and at school.

A big thank you to the students and staff for making us feel welcome. We love opportunities to connect with our community and help keep everyone safe!

🚨 TRAINING NIGHT 🚨

Last night, members of the Stringer Volunteer Fire Department spent the evening sharpening their vehicle extrication skills through hands-on training. Firefighters practiced techniques used to safely remove victims from damaged vehicles, working together to improve efficiency, teamwork, and scene safety.

We're especially proud of our Junior Firefighters, who were actively involved in the training alongside our members. Opportunities like this help our juniors gain valuable experience, learn the importance of teamwork, and develop the skills needed to become the next generation of firefighters.

A special thank you to Holifield Wrecker Service for providing the vehicle used during training. Community support like yours helps us conduct realistic, hands-on training that better prepares our firefighters for real-world emergencies.

Training never stops because emergencies don't wait. Every drill helps ensure we're ready when our community needs us most.
