Before you walk into your polling place on August 4th, join us in taking a second to thank your local Officer of Election.

Poll workers are the backbone of every election. These are your neighbors, your fellow community members, who give up their time to make sure your vote is cast smoothly, securely, and fairly.

Here's what they do on Election Day:

📋 Check voters in and verify IDs
🗳️ Assist voters who need accessible options
📊 Tally and certify results after the polls close
⏰ Stay until every ballot is accounted for

Across Virginia's 133 counties and cities, it takes more than 15,000 of these dedicated individuals to run a single election.

To every Officer of Election, thank you from all of us.

🙋 Want to be a poll worker? Virginia is always looking for dedicated people to serve as poll workers. It's one of the most impactful ways you can serve your community.
