🚨 TRAFFIC ADVISORY – DOOR COUNTY FALL 50 🚨

The Door County Sheriff's Office would like to remind motorists that the Door County Fall 50 will take place this Saturday, October 24th.

Motorists may experience traffic delays along the bay side of the Door County peninsula as runners participate in the event.

Please use caution, watch for runners, and allow extra travel time when traveling through the area.

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT – SISTER BAY FALL FEST 2026 🚧

The Door County Sheriff's Office wants to make sure everyone is aware of the upcoming road closures and detour plans for Sister Bay Fall Fest this Saturday and Sunday!

🚗 Road Closure & Detour Times:

Saturday, October 17: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Sunday, October 18: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

⚠️ Important Detour Information:

Highway 42 will be closed from Highway 57 to Scandia Road during the times listed above.

Please follow posted detour signs and allow extra travel time when traveling through the Sister Bay area.

📍 We encourage everyone to review the attached detour map and plan ahead before heading to the festivities.

🍂 Fall Fest is one of Door County's busiest weekends, and we want everyone to enjoy the event safely!

🎃🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT – EGG HARBOR PUMPKIN PATCH FESTIVAL 🚧🎃
The Door County Sheriff's Office would like to remind motorists of upcoming road closures and detours for the Egg Harbor Pumpkin Patch Festival on Saturday, October 10th.
🚧 HIGHWAY 42 CLOSURE
Saturday, October 10th, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Highway 42 will be closed from Harbor School Road to Church Street in the Village of Egg Harbor.
➡️ HIGHWAY 42 DETOUR
Motorists will be directed to use Harbor School Road, Heritage Lake Road, and County Highway E to travel around the festival area.
🚧 COUNTY HIGHWAY G (Horseshoe Bay Road) CLOSURE
Friday, October 9th, at 5:00 PM through Sunday, October 11th, at 5:00 PM, or until the festival concludes.
County Highway G will also be closed in the downtown festival area. Motorists should follow the posted detour signs.
With the large number of visitors expected throughout the weekend, please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and watch for pedestrians.
We ask everyone to be patient, follow posted traffic signs, and use caution when traveling through Egg Harbor.

Downtown will be busy this Saturday with Harvest Fest. Drivers and pedestrians, please be aware of your surroundings at intersections and in general.
