Rockland County Democratic Committee back in action and under new leadership!

We agree choice (and accountability) matters. Early voting starts 10/24, make a plan and tell 3 friends because NY-17 can’t afford Mike Lawler!!!

Go give Rockland County Dems a follow and stay connected for all things election.

⏪👀 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗧𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬!

Because this one was too important to wait until Thursday! 🫣

Back in May, POLITICO published an investigation examining Congressman Mike Lawler's history as a political operative, raising questions about political consulting, lobbying relationships, and transparency.

💰 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 $𝟳𝟮𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗔𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 to his own consulting firm was among the issues highlighted in the reporting.

🚨 𝗡𝗬-𝟭𝟳 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥!

We cannot afford to overlook questions about transparency and accountability. Our communities deserve representatives who prioritize working families, affordable healthcare, and the issues affecting our everyday lives.

💙 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗡𝗬-𝟭𝟳 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦! Cait Conley is challenging Mike Lawler this November, offering voters a different approach to representation in Washington.

👏 Special thanks to Rockland for the graphic and for continuing to encourage civic engagement and accountability!

Spotted in Rockland County 👀🚚

If this truck rolls through your neighborhood, snap a pic and tag . We might know who's behind it 😏🤭

Keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks... word on the street is it's heading to Westchester and Putnam next 🤫

Seen it already? Drop your sighting in the comments 👇

Apparently, Mike Lawler thinks a tax deduction and a tax refund are the same thing… someone should explain the difference before he starts promising everyone $4,000.

Here’s the catch: Under the original 2017 law, the $10,000 SALT cap was already scheduled to expire after 2025. Without new legislation, eligible taxpayers could have deducted more than $10,000 starting in 2026. Instead, the 2025 law created a higher temporary cap through 2029.

So the cap was already set to expire and we’re supposed to celebrate this as a brand-new $4,000 refund? 🤦🏽‍♀️

All aboard for November 3rd! 🚆

Our new 2026 Election Toolkit is live, and it’s laid out like a subway map. Pick your line (Rockland or Westchester), then ride from “check your registration” all the way to “protect the count.”

Every stop is something you can actually do: register voters, canvass for Cait Conley in NY-17, train as a poll watcher, give or get a ride to the polls, or just text three friends to vote. Tap “Add to my route” on the stops you’ll make and build your own plan.

None of us can ride every stop. Each of us can ride some.

This line keeps running. We’ll add new stops and update the schedule as plans develop, so check back often.

For a full month of events leading up to Election Day, follow us here on Facebook and on Instagram.

Next stop: October 24. That’s the registration deadline and the first day of early voting.

☕ We've got the TEA on Congressman Lawler ☕

Missed last night's News12 debate? Or watched it and still have questions?

Lawler talked a big game on affordability, but his voting record tells a very different story. And it’s our community that pays the price.

Join VOCAL Action Fund and Indivisible Rockland TOMORROW for real talk:

- The issues that matter to Rockland families
- What Lawler actually voted for (and against)
- How those votes hit working families the hardest

There will be light refreshments and good company!

📅 Wednesday, 9/30 at 6PM
📍 Hezekiah Easter Veterans Memorial Square

Come for the tea, stay for the truth. Bring a friend, bring your questions, and let's get informed together. 🗳️

Even though the Town Supervisor raised a resolution for a moratorium for one year, that review and decision are STILL IN PROCESS! It is important for everyone concerned to attend tonight to make sure that DataBank’s Phase II proposal doesn’t slip thru before a moratorium is in place!

One year moratorium status:

* June 9th - Adopting resolution #257 accepting proposal /AKRF/data center review/prepare moratorium law for consideration. Town Board Mtg Minutes can be found in the comments ⬇️

*June 23rd- Adopting resolution #287 accepting revised proposal/amend resolution #2026-257/AKRF/data center and battery energy storage review/prepare moratorium law for consideration. Town Board Mtg Minutes can be found in the comments ⬇️
