Congratulations to Lucas Harris for making it to BMT! Met this man through his father, who worked out at my gym. He came to me expecting he wouldn’t have many options in the AF and then turns around and blows his ASVAB out of the water. Ended up saving him from the Marine Corps 😉. Found out he qualifies for hands on career fields, which is what he was actually looking for.

He’ll tough it out for the next 7.5 weeks in basic before heading to technical training to learn how to be an Aerospace Ground Equipment technician. He’ll learn how to work on HVAC equipment, generators, air compressors, and more. A critical job dedicated to maintaining all of the equipment to repair and keep aircraft up in the air. Best of luck in training!

Congratulations to Britney Watson-Burgess from Jamaica 🇯🇲 leaving tomorrow for BMT. She picked up a job on December 10 so her process was a whirlwind. She reserved the General aptitude index, which will guarantee her a job in the field she wants and allow her to expedite naturalization which she will attend a naturalization ceremony for in BMT. If anyone knows Bryson Ullmer from Smithfield, please congratulate him and/or his family! He ships for Air Force basic training tomorrow as a Systems Administration technician, where he'll learn to build, design, and maintain IT & communications systems for the Department of the Air Force. Cyber Warfare Operators in the Air Force develop, sustain and enhance cyberspace capabilities to defend national interests from attack. They manage cyber and information warfare operations both on base and at deployed locations while overseeing multiple operations units.

Congratulations to Jai'quin Charles (left) from Windsor shipping tomorrow for Basic Training! Few have been as ready as this man to leave, but I'm sure his father's 23 years of service rubbed off on him. He reserved a mechanical aptitude, meaning he left without knowing exactly what job he'll be getting, but he knows it will be in the mechanical field where he was aiming. I know he'll do great, and I'm excited to see him get his career started.
