PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!! Following some programming changes, it has been discovered that the warning siren in Bethany is not functioning. All parties are working diligently to get this resolved. The programming changes is what led to investigating and found catastrophic damage following weather or power outage at some point. We are grateful that it was discovered while working on a separate project and not when it was needed at that moment.

Please Please PLEASE sign up for emergency notifications using one of the simple methods below. This is super simple.

Sirens are designed to be used for outdoor notification, not indoor. If you are outside, please be mindful of the weather and we hope the company working on this gets it resolved quickly.

If there are questions, please feel free to ask. While the Village owns the siren, BFPD activates the siren when needed. We are all working together to resolve this.
