OSD provides a language-rich environment where everyone is empowered, encouraged, and able to grow.

The Oklahoma School for the Deaf (OSD) is a residential school that offers educational options for Deaf children ages two through twenty-one. The campus occupies a 97-acre site in Sulphur, Oklahoma and includes a residential capacity of 230.

🏐 What a way to wrap up the volleyball season!

Our volleyball team played their final away games in Arkansas, taking on both Arkansas and Mississippi. The girls came out strong, defeating Arkansas 3 sets to 2! They then battled Mississippi in a close match, falling just one set short with a 2–3 finish.

With the season officially coming to an end, we couldn't be prouder of these players! Their hard work, determination, teamwork, and dedication have made this season one to celebrate.

Way to finish strong, ladies! We are so proud of you! 💚🏐

🗺️ Learning Oklahoma History Through Hands-On Fun!

Our high school Oklahoma History students got creative with a salt dough map project! Students made their own maps of Oklahoma while learning to identify the state's shape, explore its geography, and locate important places throughout the state. 📍

What a fun and interactive way to bring Oklahoma history to life while building a deeper understanding of our great state! 🌟

🎃👻 Trunk or Treat Fun! 🍬🚗

Tuesday evening was filled with smiles, laughter, and Halloween fun at our Trunk or Treat! Our students and their families, along with our staff and their families, enjoyed a wonderful evening of treats, festive trunks, and time together. 🧡

A special thank-you to the parents and employees who decorated their trunks and helped make this event so special for our students! A big shout-out to our Nurse Manager, Natalie, for providing delicious popcorn for everyone to enjoy! 🍿

We are so grateful to everyone who volunteered, participated, and helped make the evening a success. Thank you for helping create such a fun and memorable experience for our school community!

🏈📣🏐 Celebrating Our Seniors! 💚

Last night, we recognized our senior football player and cheerleaders, and two weeks ago, we celebrated our senior volleyball players! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of these seniors and all they have contributed to their sports throughout their high school years. Their hard work, dedication, leadership, and school spirit have made a lasting impact on our athletic programs.

Thank you for the memories, the commitment, and the pride you’ve brought to our school. We wish each of you the very best as you take the next steps in your journey! Once a part of our team, always a part of our Bison family! 💚

🏈 What a great night for our last home game!

Our football team did an outstanding job against Minnesota! Both teams played hard and gave it their all throughout the game. We are so proud of our team and the effort they showed on the field!

Final Score: Oklahoma 58 – Minnesota 12! 🎉

But the football season isn’t over yet! We have ONE MORE AWAY GAME next Saturday against Arkansas. Let’s keep the momentum going and finish the season strong! 💪🏈
