Our Arts & Crafts festival has come to an end. Thank you to everyone who came out in the rain to make it another huge success. A special thanks to Russ & Mary Lou Schrift for getting the crafters for festival. They look all over the area looking for the best for us. And most importantly, THANK YOU to everyone in the community that volunteered their time to support us. This is our biggest event of the year and it would not be possible without your help.

09/12/2026 10:05pm. We were dispatched to assist East East Taylor Township Volunteer Fire Company with a rollover accident with entrapment in the S curves on Mineral Point Road. A woman and her one year old son were still in the vehicle about 50 down a hillside. Because the boy was properly strapped in his car seat, he didn't appear injured. He was hanging upside down, but was still smiling at us as we worked to free him. They were both quickly removed from the vehicle through the rear window. Also assisting were the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Company and Conemaugh Valley EMS. Another example of neighboring departments working well together to get the job done.
