We didn’t want to do it, but we had to say goodbye to our dream “Green Team” - Butterball, Chardonnay, Chico, Drew and Godiva.🥺

They did an amazing job clearing away the overgrowth in our Daffodil Bowl (see the end of the reel for the before and after). We are definitely going to miss their adorable faces.🥰🐐

But the daffodils will come and go next spring; the wildflowers, weeds and vines will be back by summers end; and come fall the goats will be grazing at the Arboretum once more. We can’t wait! ☺️💚🐐

🍂 What a beautiful autumn Sunday for CELEBRATE FALL at Reeves-Reed Arboretum! 🍁

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate the magic of fall with us! From the festive atmosphere to the wonderful community spirit, you helped make our fall celebration a truly special day. 🍁🎃🧡

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of so many people. Thank you to our amazing volunteers and Board members, who generously shared their time and energy to make the day a success; Zoophoria NJ for their engaging animal education show; and the talented BOLD Arts student dancers for sharing their fun performance!

A special thank-you to our generous sponsors who helped make it all happen:
✨ Title Sponsor: the Lees Group of Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty
📸 In-Kind Sponsors: Bruce Lorenz - Photographer Bruce Lorenz and ShopRite

And thank you to all of our wonderful vendors for bringing so much creativity, fun, and fall spirit to the celebration! 🍁 We’ll be sharing the full vendor list in the comments, so be sure to check it out and show them some love.

🐐 And we can’t forget our four-legged friends! A huge thank-you to Annlilita Martins Cihanek whose hardworking goats spent two weeks at the Arboretum helping clear the overgrowth in our Daffodil Bowl and making lots of new friends. After tallying the votes on Sunday, we’re excited to announce that Butterball was voted Favorite Goat! 🏆🐐 Congratulations, Butterball!

Most of all, THANK YOU for supporting Reeves-Reed Arboretum, a nonprofit public garden dedicated to connecting people with nature through beautiful gardens, environmental stewardship, and educational programs for our community. Your support helps us care for our gardens, inspire a love of nature, and provide meaningful educational experiences for visitors of all ages.

We’re so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community. 💚 Thank you for celebrating fall with us and helping our gardens and educational programs continue to flourish.

We can’t wait to see you again soon! 🍁🎃🌻🍂

A little mulch goes a long way! 🌿💚

A big THANK YOU to BOSTON CONSULTING GROUP of Summit, NJ for spending time at Reeves-Reed Arboretum helping us mulch our woodland trails! This hands-on work helps reduce erosion, maintain safer walking surfaces, and keep our trails in good shape for everyone who visits.

We’re so grateful to the local businesses and corporate volunteer groups who share their time to help care for the Arboretum. Your support makes a real difference in keeping this special place beautiful, welcoming, and accessible for our community! 🌳
