Construction has begun at Bonney Lake High School! Staff, students, and community partners gathered yesterday to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bonney Lake High School Expansion project.

With an anticipated completion date of Fall 2028, the expansion will include 18 new classrooms, a new welcome center, administration and student services areas, turf and lighted baseball and fastpitch fields, and more.

"These new learning environments mean expanded academic and extracurricular opportunities," said ASB president Waniya T. "By building outward and upward, we are giving future students the dedicated spaces they truly need to truly focus, collaborate, and excel."

This project was made possible by voters in the 2024 Construction Bond. Thank you, voters! Learn more about it at sumnersd.org/BLHSconstruction, and see all of our bond projects at sumnerbonneylakebuilds.org.
