We are thankful for our Physical Therapist and Physical Therapy Assistants who work patiently with our students.

"As school-based PTs and PTAs, one of the greatest joys of our job is watching our students grow, gain confidence, and achieve their goals. We love making therapy fun and meaningful while helping students improve their strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and independence so they can fully participate in their school day. To watch each child's journey and being able to celebrate every victory, big or small, is the most rewarding part! Every milestone matters, and we are grateful to be part of each student's story!" (Emily McCutchen, PTA)

🎶🪑 Musical Chairs with a Heart Word Twist! ❤️✏️

Mrs. Stanley’s kindergarten students put their reading and writing skills to work with a fun game of Heart Word Musical Chairs! 🎵

As the music played, students walked around the room. When the music stopped, they found a heart word and practiced writing it! 📝

Who knew practicing heart words could be so much fun?! Learning through movement, music, and play makes for an exciting day in kindergarten! 🌟

💡📚TIPS & TOOLS TUESDAY
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Families, it is time to put those thinking caps on!

Sometimes, the best lessons do not come from textbooks. They come from conversations, choices, and everyday experiences!

This week, we are challenging families to play “WHAT WOULD YOU DO?”

Here is how it works:

Read the scenario that matches your child’s grade level. Let your child explain what they would do, why they would do it, and what might happen next!

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

You notice a classmate sitting alone at lunch. Everyone else is playing or talking with friends.

💬WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Your friends are making fun of another student in a group chat. They want you to join in.

💬WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

HIGH SCHOOL

You have a big assignment due tomorrow, but your friends invite you to do something fun tonight. You haven’t started your assignment.

💬WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

PARENTS & CAREGIVERS: KEEP THE CONVERSATION GOING!

Ask your child:

💭Why would you make that choice?

💭How might your decision affect someone else?

💭What could happen next?

💭Would you make the same decision if nobody were watching?

THIS WEEK’S FAMILY CHALLENGE:

Spend 10 minutes discussing one scenario together.

There is no need for a perfect answer. The goal is to help children practice thinking critically, making responsible decisions, and considering others.

👇🏽LET’S GET INTERACTIVE!

Families, which scenario sparked the best conversation in your home?

🍎Elementary

📚Middle

🎓High School

Tell us in the comments! We would love to hear your family’s perspective. ❤️
