IT’S MORE THAN A CAR SHOW, IT’S ABOUT CARING FOR THOSE WHO SERVED!
Hey, everybody! It’s me, Flash, the Hidden Wounds Service Dog! And I’m inviting YOU to come out this Saturday, October 17th, to the Hidden Wounds Car Show at Willie Sue’s Restaurant!
Hidden Wounds is proud to partner with Harleigh, an amazing 10-year-old young lady with a BIG heart for helping others! At an age when most kids are thinking about what they want, Harleigh is thinking about what she can GIVE to those in need. Now THAT’S something worth celebrating!
Harleigh and her team will be at the car show collecting TOILETRIES to help veterans who have fallen through the cracks and need a helping hand. Her mission also includes bringing comfort and essential items to veterans living in nursing homes throughout the great state of South Carolina.
Here’s how YOU can help make a difference!
- Bring an item or two of toiletries with you to the car show.
- Stop by Harleigh and her team’s tent.
- Drop off your donation and help put a smile on a veteran’s face!
Every donation matters! Whether it’s soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, or other personal care essentials, your generosity can help restore dignity, provide comfort, and remind our veterans that they have NOT been forgotten.
At Hidden Wounds, our mission is to reach those veterans who often fall through the gaps and provide support when they need it most. We’re proud of Harleigh for showing us that YOU’RE NEVER TOO YOUNG TO MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE!

Bring the family out to see amazing cars with their trunks decked out in Halloween style loaded with treats for the kids!

We are teaming up with Hidden Wounds for a special food drive. Help us "Fill the Van" by bringing non-perishable food items to support a fantastic cause.

Bring out your cars, trucks, bikes, classics, muscle cars, customs, or daily drivers, or just come by to check out the rides and enjoy the evening with us.

More than anything, these Cruise-Ins are about bringing our community together while supporting the mission of Hidden Wounds Veterans Resource Center and the Veterans we serve. Every conversation, visit, and show of support helps remind our Veterans that they are never alone.

Hidden Wounds would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Randy’s Battle Team, Crestwood High School, Nike, Hibbett Sports, and Ja Morant for your incredible support of our recent food drive during Ja Morant’s return to his alma mater.

Hibbett Sports and Nike partnered to host an amazing Community Tailgate Party, bringing together the community for a day filled with activities, celebration, and giving back. One of the highlights was a food drive benefiting Hidden Wounds, a nonprofit veterans organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families who are facing food insecurity and other needs.

Because of your generosity, Hidden Wounds left the event with a truckload of food that will be distributed throughout the Sumter area to veterans and families in need. Every box, every donation, and every helping hand makes a difference.

We also want to recognize Ja Morant for continuing to give back to the community he once called home. Your commitment to investing in the people and community that helped shape you is something we deeply appreciate and salute.

We’re proud to be out in the community today representing Hidden Wounds Veterans Resource Center at Mazda of Columbia!

Every opportunity we get to be out in the community is another chance to spread awareness about our mission, connect with Veterans and their families, and let people know that resources and support are available.

If you’re in the area, stop by Mazda of Columbia, at 665 Broad River Rd., come say hello, learn more about Hidden Wounds, and find out how you can help us continue supporting the men and women who have served our country, we also have coffee and doughnuts.🇺🇸🦅

Community Coming Together to Support Our Veterans
Hidden Wounds would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Attorney General Allen Wilson, Mike Reichenbach, and their staff members for joining Hidden Wounds and our amazing volunteers today to pack food boxes for veterans and their families who are facing food insecurity.
We would also like to give a huge THANK YOU to Advantage Realty for showing up today with a truck full of much-needed food for our pantry. They came strong with a large staff contingency, ready to roll up their sleeves and make sure every item was safely unloaded and put to good use.
What makes days like today so special is seeing people put others before themselves. Both groups took time out of their busy schedules to give back to those who have sacrificed and served our country.
Because of today's combined efforts, Hidden Wounds will be able to reach and assist even more veterans and families who are struggling with food insecurity.
Hidden Wounds cannot reach the veterans who need us without the support of our community. Every volunteer, every donation, every box packed, and every helping hand makes a difference.
