Celebrate the summer as we gather around our virtual campfire and make s’mores this Thursday 6/25 at 4 pm!

Join this fun event this Wednesday 6/24 at 4 pm! Write a postcard-sized poem and mail or deliver it to a friend or family member. Poetry guidance will be provided by our Sun Valley resident poet. Postcard pictures will be provided or you can draw your own.

Join us next Saturday 6/27 from 11 am to 2 pm and learn to preserve your memories for future generations. We will have lessons about archiving basics and how to digitize material with a scanner. We will also have a fun craft you can keep at the end of the workshop!

The ninja is reminding everyone that the library is closed today for the Juneteenth holiday, and wishes all the fathers out there a very Happy Father’s Day!

Summer is here and school is out! Andy, our Children’s Librarian, will be reviewing books from the Summer Reading List by Association of Library Services to Children. She hope you enjoy reading these books together this summer. All books are available at lapl.org

Join us this Thursday 6/18 for a fun art program! Miss Emmy presents a pastel art craft program featuring Sun Valley and Los Angeles landmarks!

Join us this Wednesday 6/17 at 4 pm for a fun program! We are going to be making mirror art for some of the empty spaces at our branch. Participants will add pictures to a large foil covered paper. What kind of pictures? Whatever you want, let your imagination soar!
