Silicon Valley Clean Energy A community-owned not-for-profit electricity provider offering clean power at competitive rates. SVCE works in partnership with PG&E.

Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) provides residents and businesses with clean electricity from renewable and carbon-free sources at competitive rates. SVCE is locally governed by 13 jurisdictions in Santa Clara County. SVCE buys clean electricity direct from the source—encouraging the kind of market growth and competition that results in more renewable energy sources and lower energy generation rates. PG&E delivers the electricity over existing power lines, and continues to maintain the lines and provide customer service as they always have. Your bill continues to come from PG&E, with SVCE generation charges replacing those from PG&E.

knows how to host an event!🥘

We loved tabling at this Live Induction Cooking Experience! Attendees enjoyed delicious food, learned about rebates and programs that can help make home electrification more affordable, and watched Chef Shivaranjini of Suggi Oota restaurant showcase the power of induction cooking.

SVCE was also excited to provide one of the raffle prizes: a brand-new induction cooktop! 🎉

Thanks to everyone who came out and visited our table. Happy cooking!

Does induction cook better than gas? Chef Matt Dailey says "Absolutely!" 🥘
We loved listening to Chef Dailey's words of wisdom! They (along with his tacos) were further proof that you don't need a gas stove to cook a truly luxurious meal. If you're ready to switch to induction, SVCE offers a rebate for upgrading! Visit our website to learn how to go electric 🍳

Last month, SV Clean Energy joined Carroll Inn residents in celebrating a $2.7M rehabilitation project that provided residents with air conditioning for the very first time.

The renovation brings more than cooling. The project stacked local, state and federal funding programs; and SVCE contributed a $450,000 grant to close the total funding gap and support electric upgrades, including central and individual heat pump water heaters (HPWHs), electric dryers, roof-mounted solar, and more.

Carroll Inn, an affordable housing community in the heart of Sunnyvale, is now all-electric. The residents who call Carroll Inn home will now experience cooler, healthier, safer, and more comfortable living spaces.
