💜 CELEBRATING A HISTORIC MILESTONE!

Congratulations to the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) Coastal Wilmington Section on its Charter Celebration!

It was an honor and a pleasure to attend this special occasion celebrating leadership, service, unity, and the continued empowerment of women throughout our community.

Congratulations to the leadership and members of the NCNW Coastal Wilmington Section as they begin this exciting new chapter!

It was also a pleasure connecting with Jessica Bichler and LeShonda Wallace during this wonderful celebration.

Together, we celebrate the people and organizations working to strengthen our communities and create opportunities for future generations!

Congratulations once again, NCNW Coastal Wilmington Section! 💜👏🏽

🐓 THROWBACK THURSDAY | Before the Courtroom… There Was a Chicken Coop!

Long before the courtroom, there was 4-H!

As a young man, James Faison participated in 4-H, where one of his first service projects involved raising baby chicks. He learned firsthand the responsibility that came with caring for them, including helping build the chicken house they needed as they grew.

His 4-H experience also gave him opportunities to develop another skill that would follow him throughout his life: public speaking. 🎤

From chickens and 4-H projects to a career in law and public service, sometimes the experiences of our youth stay with us in ways we could never have imagined.
