Surf City Volunteer Fire Company Welcome to the official page of the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company & Emergency Medical Services

We are an all volunteer organization providing fire protection for the Borough of Surf City and the Long Beach Township section of North Beach from 25th Street to Roxie Ave. We also provide Emergency Medical Services for the Borough of Surf City. In addition, we provide all vehicle rescue extrication operations for Long Beach Island. We operate with One Rescue Engine, One Class A Engine, One Special Operations/High Water Truck, One Utility Vehicle, One Command Vehicle, Two BLS Ambulances, and an Antique Engine. In the 1990 we became the first Fire Company in Ocean County to provide Emergency Medical Services. We held the distinction in Ocean County as the being ONLY volunteer Fire Company to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances until 2016.
