With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to one of our oldest and most cherished members, Artice Moore, who celebrated her 95th birthday this year.
Artice was born and raised in Roseburg, where she married her high school sweetheart, Larry. Their life together took them to several states, but after retirement, they returned home to Douglas County and settled in Sutherlin.
In 2013, Artice and Larry joined the Sutherlin Lions Club, where they quickly became dedicated and treasured members. After Larry passed in 2017, Artice continued her Lions journey by joining the Sutherlin Evening Branch.
Artice was truly a blessing to our Lions family. Her warmth, kindness, and positive spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. We are grateful for the years she shared with us and for the wonderful memories she leaves behind.
We were blessed to call her a fellow Lion and, more importantly, our friend.
We will miss you, Artice. 🦁💙
