🕯️ In remembrance of 9/11: 25 years later

In Georgia, hundreds of firefighters and other first responders made the one-mile trek up Stone Mountain, equivalent to climbing 160 flights of stairs, in full turnout gear in tribute to the 343 firefighters who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks 25 years ago.

📸 AJC photojournalist Hyosub Shin captured their ascent this morning. View the full gallery at the link in the first comment. 👇
